Acceptance of Terms


By accessing or using Big Bear Home Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not use this website or our services.


About Our Services


Big Bear Home Hub provides two primary services:


Local Service Referrals


We help connect users with contractors, service providers, property managers, insurance providers, real estate professionals, and other businesses that may be able to help with their needs.


Quote Coordination Service


We offer a paid service where we help coordinate contractor estimates for larger projects.


Our Quote Coordination Service may include:


  • Reviewing project details
  • Contacting contractors
  • Scheduling site visits
  • Helping coordinate property access
  • Gathering quotes
  • Sending quotes to the customer for comparison


We are not a contractor, property manager, engineer, inspector, insurance agent, attorney, or licensed professional.


We do not perform any work ourselves.


No Guarantees


We do not guarantee:


  • Contractor availability
  • A specific number of quotes
  • Pricing from contractors
  • Response times
  • Project completion
  • Satisfaction with any contractor
  • That a contractor will accept your project
  • That you will hire a contractor
  • That any contractor will perform quality work


We will make reasonable efforts to gather up to three quotes whenever possible, but there may be times when fewer quotes are available.


We may contact contractors outside of Big Bear if local contractor availability is limited.


User Responsibility


You are responsible for:


  • Providing accurate and complete project information
  • Verifying contractor licensing, insurance, qualifications, reviews, references, and pricing
  • Reviewing contracts and terms provided by contractors
  • Deciding whether or not to hire a contractor
  • Verifying any permits or legal requirements related to your project


You understand that Big Bear Home Hub does not investigate, verify, endorse, guarantee, or warrant any contractor, service provider, or business.


Quote Coordination Service Fees


Pricing for Quote Coordination Services is based on the project scope, property location, access needs, complexity, and time involved.


Any quote we provide for our coordination services is based on the information you provide.


If project details change, if information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, or if the project is more complex than originally described, we reserve the right to:


  • Adjust the fee
  • Pause the project
  • Decline to continue the project
  • Cancel the project entirely


You are not committed to moving forward with Quote Coordination Services until you approve our pricing.


Once you approve pricing and we begin work, all fees are non-refundable.


This applies even if:


  • You choose not to hire a contractor
  • You receive fewer than three quotes
  • You cancel the project after work has begun
  • Contractors decline the work
  • You do not move forward with the project


Property Access and Site Visits


If you request that we coordinate site visits, access your property, meet contractors, or otherwise assist with project coordination on-site, you understand and agree that:


  • We are not responsible for contractor actions on your property
  • We are not responsible for damage to your property
  • We are not responsible for theft, injury, delays, or other issues related to contractor visits
  • We are not responsible for weather delays, scheduling issues, or missed appointments


You agree to hold Big Bear Home Hub harmless from any claims, damages, losses, injuries, costs, or disputes arising from contractor visits or work performed.


Photo Update Service


After using our Quote Coordination Service, you may request a Photo Update Service.


This service includes:


  • Up to 15 photos of the property or project
  • A fee starting at $150
  • Additional charges for longer travel distances, special requests, or rescheduled visits


The Photo Update Service is intended only to provide visual updates.


We do not supervise contractors, inspect work quality, guarantee progress, guarantee completion, or accept responsibility for any project.


The service is simply "eyes on the project" and should not be considered project management, inspection, or supervision.


Communication Consent


By submitting a request through Big Bear Home Hub, you consent to being contacted by:


  • Big Bear Home Hub
  • Contractors
  • Service providers
  • Advertisers
  • Affiliate partners
  • Other businesses related to your request


You may be contacted by phone, text message, email, or other methods.


Right to Refuse or Cancel Service


We reserve the right to refuse, pause, or cancel any request or project at any time and for any reason.


Examples include:


  • Lack of contractor availability
  • Incomplete or inaccurate information
  • Unsafe conditions
  • Unreasonable project demands
  • Lack of access to the property
  • Non-payment
  • Concerns about liability or legal issues


Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent allowed by law, Big Bear Home Hub will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages.


Our total liability for any claim related to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service.


Indemnification


You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Big Bear Home Hub and its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, and representatives from any claims, damages, disputes, losses, costs, or legal expenses arising out of:


  • Your use of the website
  • Your use of any contractor or service provider
  • Your project
  • Your property
  • Contractor actions or work performed
  • Information you provide


Third-Party Providers


Big Bear Home Hub is not responsible for the actions, availability, pricing, work quality, licensing, insurance, conduct, or performance of any contractor or service provider.


Any relationship, agreement, or dispute between you and a contractor is solely between you and that contractor.


Changes to Terms


We may update these Terms of Service at any time.


Any updates will be posted on this page.
